Today the club created holiday supply boxes to be delivered to the Hinesburg Community Resource Center, Shelburne Food Shelf and The Charlotte Community Food Shelf and Assistance. The members donated all the supplies. The club will also donate $500 to each to be used to purchase food items to be distributed. Immediate Past President, Carrie Fenn, spearheaded this project.
This past weekend, several members participated in chopping and loading wood with Wood 4 Good, https://wood4goodvt.org/. This nonprofit provides wood for families experiencing heat insecurity.
