  • Camp Ta Kum Ta appears to be no longer seeking volunteers for the things our club has done there for many years.

  • Jim Donovan reminded us that the International Host Committee is still looking for families to host young people from a variety of countries in the near future.
Program:  Our speaker was John MacKay, a chemist who operates a consulting firm called Synergistic Technologies Associates.  Its function is to advise & assist cannabis businesses in designing efficient extraction systems to ensure that the resulting product meets the business’ objectives for content and cost-effectiveness.  John has a PhD in organic chemistry, and taught at various colleges & universities, before starting this consulting firm.  It was interesting to learn that different uses of cannabis require different chemical versions of the substance, which John helps his clients to achieve.
