President Trafton Crandall led the Pledge of Allegiance and Kris Engstrom gave the invocation relevant to the upcoming holidays. 
President Crandall read a letter of appreciation from Terrell Titus thanking the members for support and home cooked meals.

Alan Bates reported that the winner of Round 12 was Trafton’s daughter.
Membership:
Ric Flood announced that David Buley has been proposed for membership. There is still paper work to be completed.
 
Announcements:
Lara Kennan informed the club that the Shelburne Holiday Stroll will be this Friday with events happening in the Town Hall and Library.
Lara also mentioned that everyone should be on the lookout for a special red insert in this week’s Shelburne news.  No further clues were given.

Evan Webster asked for happy fines and to name their favorite pies and if they prefer white or dark meat during Thanksgiving.
Ric Flood – happy that megan came through surgery well, also record driving time from BTV-BOS 3 hours 11 min. door to door
Sam Feitelberg – had one turkey to eat and 12 turkeys as guests, also happy to have his grandson visit and discuss internship at the White House
Howard Seaver – happy to host a Bhutanese family for Thanksgiving dinner

Michael Dupee
Lara Keenan introduced   Michale Dupee  as the guest speaker.
Michael is a Certified Biomimicry Professional, a Teaching Fellow at the Boston College for Corporate Citizenship, and an entrepreneur. From 2004 -2012, Michael built the Corporate Social Responsibility program and Sustainable Innovation function at Keurig Green Mountain, deploying over $44 million globally on a variety of strategic sustainability initiatives. He is a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs and holds degrees in biomimicry, law,, business, and history.
Michael’s presentation titled “ “Beyond Human Cleverness” touched upon the “conscious emulation of nature’s genius” . An intentional mimicking of nature’s characteristics used in various applications.  He discussed the economic and innovation potential of biomimicry and how it is being played out today and possibly in the future.
