Dan welcomed Andrew Rainville today,  Amanda’s partner, in attendance to support Amanda’s classification talk!
Reminder to donate to the Rotary Foundation through the end of the year.  These gifts are utilized, in part, for the grant money, which our club has received monies in support of The Burlington Football club. 
Dan York presented a Paul Harris award to Chris Davis!  
December 21 is the next board meeting. 
Please let Dan know if you have ideas for fundraising. Our first meeting of 2024 will be a sharing of ideas for fundraising and other ways we can support our communities. 
January 31, 2024 - Speech Contest will take place during our meeting.  
Amanda Vincent is currently the CSH co President Elect and is telling us about herself today through a classification talk.  
Amanda grew up in New Haven, Vermont and lives with her partner Andrew in Hinesburg.  She enjoys strength training and video games. Hazel and Basil are her two cats and they have a bunny named Mr. Mazel.  All three are lovingly called “The Wazils.” 
Amanda’s sister and parents live in Addison County and she has twenty five cousins in Addison County! 
Amanda graduated from Mt. Abraham in 2013 and from Champlain College in 2017 where she earned a Computer Programming degree. She enjoys traveling and has taken a road trip to the west coast, Costa Rica and Europe this past summer. 
Since graduating from college, Amanda has started her own business, twice; Amanda Rose Photography and now Vermont Senior Portraits.  She has worked for NuHarbor Security, Jostens, and is currently the town clerk for the Town of St. George Town. 
Volunteer experience:  Rotary, Rotary District Social Media Chair, cheerleading coach, Town of Hinesburg Economic Development Committee and now Junior League.  
Rotary has become a very important part of Amanda’s life and who she is. Making the impact with Rotary engages all the things that are important to her!   
Jim presented Amanda with the book “Be A Revolution” by Ijeoma Oluo which will be donated to The Hinesburg Public library.
