ROTARY DISTRICTS ANNOUNCE DISTRICT GOVERNOR CHANGEOVER

 

SHELBURNE, VERMONT (June 6, 2013) --- Rotary International District 7850 which includes northern Vermont, northern New Hampshire and Quebec and consisting of 42 Rotary clubs conducted its annual changeover at the Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms at 6 PM on Thursday June 6th.  Stephen Dates, a member of the Charlotte Shelburne Rotary Club was inducted as Governor for 2013-2014 by present Governor Sonny Holt (2012-2013).

 

Also elevated in ranking was Bruce Pacht , Governor, 2014-2015 of the Lebanon, NH Club, and Louisa Tripp, Governor 2015-2016 of the Northfield, VT club.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations.  Rotary’s main objective is service – in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe.  The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self.  Rotary clubs are open to people of all cultures and ethnicities and are not affiliated with any political or religious organizations.
