Rotary Halloween Parade 2019

Brave and optimistic souls enjoy Rotary Halloween Parade

The weatherman played some tricks on the annual Charlotte Shelburne Hinesburg Rotary Halloween Parade Sunday, with cloudy, rainy weather right up till parade time arrived, keeping the usual crowds away, and then favoring the brave souls who came with some occasional sunshine.

Parade organizer Richard Fox, said, “Notwithstanding the shaky weather, things cleared as the Parade got moving and the many attendees had a great time, followed by fun, food, and music at the Fire Station.”

Winners of the float competition were the Shelburne Girl Scout Troop’s “Save Our Seasons” float in 1st Place, Wild Woods neighborhood with their “Wild Woods” float in 2nd place and Shelburne BNI’s “Spider Car” in 3rd place.

Rotarian Fox promised, “We look forward to putting on next year’s Parade, rain or shine, on October 25, 2020.”
