The Giving Season
It may be better to give than receive, but this year you can do both!
Join with other Charlotte-Shelburne Rotarians in contributing to Polio Plus and the Annual Fund before year-end and receive matching Paul Harris points and homemade cookies! What could be better?
The Foundation Committee is encouraging all club members to support these worthwhile Rotary causes. Polio Plus is so close to meeting its goal of world wide eradication. With your help we can do it. Your contribution will, of course, help but so will the publicity! Join in the fun by adding your photo to this global commercial shown on the home page. I went online yesterday and uploaded my photo. You can also add awareness by liking "endpolionow" on Facebook.
The Annual Fund supports the Rotary Foundation's humanitarian, educational and cultural exchange programs worldwide. Your contributions to both causes are eligible for points towards the Paul Harris Fellows awards. Our club will match- dollar for dollar- the first $50 to each of these funds. Thus, your $100 donation ($50 to each) becomes $200 to these causes. To sweeten the deal, homemade cookies will be given out next week to contributing Rotarians.
